A Backyard Graduation Party on a Cold March Day
Austin · Graduation campaign stills · 8 imagesParty City’s 2023 graduation campaign was shot in Austin on a cold March day, and the photos still had to look like a warm backyard barbecue.
We came in between back-to-back productions in Denver and Austin, and the stills needed a quick turnaround for use across Party City’s marketing channels.
In The Wee Hours Production led the shoot with Matthew Slimmer Productions co-producing. Nick was the stills photographer, working the same sets and talent as the motion team so the photos and the video tell one story.
Party City’s blue and white décor gave every frame a bright base, and keeping the talent moving made it read as a real celebration. We delivered eight retouched stills on the quick schedule the production needed.
