Premium Tequila, Reimagined
Dulce Vida came to us at a pivotal moment: a complete label redesign and brand repositioning. The existing visual identity no longer matched the quality of what was in the bottle, and they needed photography that could carry a new chapter—one that elevated the brand from shelf presence to shelf standout.
The brief called for imagery that communicated premium quality without relying on the tired visual language of the spirits category. The goal was a full library of product shots that worked across e-commerce, social media, and print—all in a single production day.
Pre-production was fully developed by 518. Every detail was planned before the shoot day began—shot list, styling direction, prop selection, lighting rig setup. No improvising on the day. That kind of preparation is what separates a production day that feels effortless from one that feels chaotic.
We built the shoot around versatility. The same core bottle was styled multiple ways: clean and minimal for e-commerce, contextual lifestyle setups for brand storytelling, dramatic lighting configurations for social content. Each setup was designed to produce a full set of usable angles and crops.
30+ uniquely styled product images delivered in a single shoot day. Every image was usable, and a large percentage were hero-ready straight out of post-production. The client had a complete visual library to support the label redesign launch across every channel.
The shoot demonstrated what happens when pre-production and creative direction come together before the camera ever turns on. No wasted setups, no dead ends, no settle for shots. Just a clean production day that delivered everything the brand needed to launch properly.
